HOW MUCH IS THAT DOGGIE IN THE WINDOW?

What to ask yourself before you consider buying/adopting a dog or puppy!

WHAT SIZE DOG?

Small or Large? If large when the dog grows up form being a puppy will you have enough room!

DOG BREED? There a certain features dog breeds have

Coat-
Long haired or short, will you have to spend all you time grooming the dog and do you have that time!

Temperament-
What type of temperament would you like the dog to have, friendly or protective? What is best for your situation, do you have young children? Etc..

Activity-
What type of activity will the dog require? Large dogs may need more walks, do you have time in your schedule for this?

Training-
Dogs need to be trained; unless you train them they will rule the house! Some breeds need more training than others.

IS IT THE RIGHT TIME?

We know you want a puppy/dog but if you get one now will you be able to look after him/her. This decision although exciting shouldn’t be taken lightly.
This pet will be with you hopefully for many, many years. Should you wait until you have a bigger yard, more time.

Remember to think about it first…. Don’t think: Can I afford that dog? .... Think: Can I provide for that dog!
